Basic Edition vs. Deluxe Edition

The Basic Edition comes with just the EverDrive-N8 Pro for NES cartridge with a gray back label in the selected style or configuration covered by a 1-year Warranty. Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge with a gold back label, a case, printed manual, a EverDrive-N8 Pro sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

Flash carts, ODEs (optical drive emulators), and similar devices Stone Age Gamer sells and supports are intended to be used only for the following purposes: development, playing games licensed by Stone Age Gamer for use with the product, and/or playing currently owned personally backed-up games and media where it is legal to do so. Stone Age Gamer does not offer support for any other use of this product.

B) PERSONAL BACK-UPS – In many territories it is legal to make back-ups for personal use and/or archival purposes, however it may not be legal in all territories. Please learn the national and local laws regarding this subject before making back-ups for personal use. Please note, in most territories "Personal Back-up" means exactly that; back-ups you made yourself of games you currently own. This often does not include back-ups obtained via other methods (i.e. downloading), even if it is a game you physically own.

C) DAMAGE – Neither Stone Age Gamer or the manufacturer is responsible for any damage of property this product may cause. D) MODIFICATION & USE – Any unauthorized modification and/or non-intended use of this or any other flash cart product sold by Stone Age Gamer shall void both manufacturer and retailer warranties of that product.

E) CLONE / MODIFIED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on un-modified original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or modified consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or modified consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or modified consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

    i recieved my everdrive n8 pro from stoneage gamer in a matter of only a few days. it arrived in a high quality case. extremely beautiful case and inserts with color manual and stickers. these guys do an amazing job. the best. the everdrive itself in housed in a deep red transparent cartridge and looks stunning. high quality label also. the n8 pro is amazing with save states and in game menu. well worth the purchase. a very high quality package only available at stoneagegamer.com

    Another excellent flash cart

    This everdrive does more than I will ever need it to do. Playing roms and rom hacks on original NES hardware, it’s great. But having an in-game menu with save states… that’s a real game changer. I don’t have a lot of time like I once did. Being able to play an old NES game, put it down, and pick it up a few days later from where I left off is priceless.

    Owning an Analogue NT I actually didn't really need this, but I find the interface so much easier to navigate around and I had a hard time seeing my console without a cartridge inserted into it, and that color just pops, really brings me back to the old Nintendo with the Play it loud transparent colors of the DMG. You owe it to yourself to buy one!

    I got tired of the cost of collecting carts and decided to grab this instead. It’s a brilliant product, extremely quick to load games and so simple to use. The only downside is it’s beautiful color is hidden inside the guts of my NES.

    Everdrive N8 Pro

    International onal buyer here, from Mexico.
    This was my first order, never had owned an Everdrive before. Price might be a bit steep, but the quality of the case is good. This cartridge works with the mini SD, so the adapter that usually comes with any SD card is not used. It might be a bit confusing knowing the orientation when inserting the SD, but you figure it out instantly.
    Something i notice is that (at least with the standard edition) you dont get any sort of instruction as to how to use the everdrive.
    Yes, this site has all the documentation, but it would be nice to at least receive some printer instructions on a sheet, telling you the folder structure and the files you need. Again, that is on the website, but such instructions would save some time.
    The product itself is good, very good. I am able to play hacks, regular roms, etc. All in all, great product. I sold most of my collection to get this, one for my snes and one for the genesis.
    I consider these everdrives (the pro line) actual collector items, even over original cartridges. But that's just my opinion, of course.
