Basic Edition vs. Deluxe Edition

The Basic Edition comes with just the EverDrive-N8 Pro for NES cartridge with a gray back label in the selected style or configuration covered by a 1-year Warranty. Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge with a gold back label, a case, printed manual, a EverDrive-N8 Pro sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

Flash carts, ODEs (optical drive emulators), and similar devices Stone Age Gamer sells and supports are intended to be used only for the following purposes: development, playing games licensed by Stone Age Gamer for use with the product, and/or playing currently owned personally backed-up games and media where it is legal to do so. Stone Age Gamer does not offer support for any other use of this product.

B) PERSONAL BACK-UPS – In many territories it is legal to make back-ups for personal use and/or archival purposes, however it may not be legal in all territories. Please learn the national and local laws regarding this subject before making back-ups for personal use. Please note, in most territories "Personal Back-up" means exactly that; back-ups you made yourself of games you currently own. This often does not include back-ups obtained via other methods (i.e. downloading), even if it is a game you physically own.

D) MODIFICATION & USE – Any unauthorized modification and/or non-intended use of this or any other flash cart product sold by Stone Age Gamer shall void both manufacturer and retailer warranties of that product.

E) CLONE / MODIFIED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on un-modified original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or modified consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or modified consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or modified consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

    If you use your NES for anything, just get this. The features and compatibility you get from the N8 Pro justifies its $205 price tag. You get EXACT timing and latency with a CRT setup, crucial for speedrunners and competitive Tetris people. You get Game Genie codes where you can mess around with games in kooky (or helpful) ways. You get Save States that work on any game, so you can practice hard sections or come back to your game where you left it. Rom Hacks, Translations, Bootlegs, Homebrews, absurdly expensive games, the N8 Pro does it all! The only thing it may not be perfect at may be the few handful of Famicom or FDS games that use Expanded Audio, like Pac-man Championship Edition, missing some sounds (which can be solved through a solder mod or a EPSM) but other than that, this thing is amazing.

    The Everdrive N8 is a flash cart for the NES. The Everdrive N8 is the ultimate way to play NES games today. The features are extensive, the controls intuitive and best of all its real software running on real hardware. Try a game before you buy? Hacking or homebrewing for the NES? Preserving you collection of precious carts? This Everdrive N8 has you covered. Emulation is fine, but maybe, you like me need the real thing. Almost any NES, Famicom or disk drive game ever, at you fingertips. The dream is real. I recommend this product.

    This arrived quickly and well packaged from Stone age gamer. Set up is easy and it works as advertised. In my opinion, this is how everyone should play NES games on original hardware. You can load up all your NES roms on it and leave the everdrive in the console, which prevents wear from repeatedly removing and inserting cartridges into the system, you never have to worry about a save battery going bad, its made with quality components that will last a long time and you can still have your original carts on display while playing them on this cart. Its a must-have upgrade for the NES in 2022

    Easy setup, super stable

    Three things to say...First, the cart itself is top notch. Everything I've thrown at it has worked flawlessly, and in multiple consoles. I'm happy to say that my 30 year journey to try and complete Castlevania was only achieved recently with this cart in hand....I'm able to keep my regular carts in their sleeves and, more importantly, not futz with the console, reducing wear & tear across the board. Second, the shipping was shockingly fast, given how anything else ordered in the retro scene has gone. Third, SAG was super communicative from alerting me that the cart was available via my wish list, to processing the order, to giving updates for the shipping all along the way. Great service guys.

    Be wanting one for years. I picked up one and was impressed. It works on both original hardware and clones. I was even able to play Castlevania 3 on a clone which I was a shock and awesome at the same time. Well built and I got the case so it even looks great In my collection.

    Perfect cart emulation on both my original hardware and an analogue mini nt noir. The upgraded case from stoneage matches my analogue and just looks great. I don't think I could be any happier with this product. Just buy it.

    The step up from the original N8 was a no brainer. I wanted a way to be able to get back to the menu and select a new game without getting off the couch to power off/reset. Save staves and in game menu can he accesed now! Sweet!

    Using the N8 Pro feels like going back in time to my childhood. I have not had any issues with it, however i do keep it out of reach of my children just in case. I would recommend to anyone looking to get into retro gaming.
