Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge with gold back label, a case, printed manual, an FXPAK Pro sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

Features

  • microSD supported (tested up to 64GB; no exFAT support so SDXC cards must be reformatted using FAT32).
  • Fast ROM loading (~9MB/s).
  • Fast menu navigation.
  • Directories are sorted automatically, no need for FAT sorting tools.
  • High resolution menu (512×224) for adequate display of long file names.
  • Real Time Clock.
  • Supports ROM size up to 128MBit (96Mbit actually implemented).
  • Automatic near-time SRAM saving to SD Card (while the game runs). Some limitations apply:
    • near-time saving is switched to periodic saving when a game is found to use the SRAM as work RAM.
    • Automatic saving is disabled when MSU1 is used. SRAM is saved on reset.
    • Enhancement chip support (see below for implementation status).
  • SuperCIC key (SNES CIC clone):
    • enables operation on unmodified consoles of all regions.
    • supports software 50/60Hz switching on SuperCIC enhanced consoles only (to be performed by FXPAK firmware, not yet implemented there).
    • Auto region patching: eliminates “This Game Pak is not designed…” messages regardless of 50/60Hz setting.

The Best ED for SFC so far!

Posted by eugene on May 19th 2021

was fortunate to grab this before the name change to fxpak pro, sd2snes pro really seems more appropriate given the massive improvement over the original sd2snes! was really happy to be able to play my favorite sfc/snes games especially starfox and yoshi's island on real hardware again (while keeping my originals untouched, which hopefully extends their lifespans). to all fellow gamers, it really is a great time to be alive and to all undecided about taking the plunge, it will be the best investment ever and you really won't regret it!

Great for playing JP + Eng patched games on SFC.

I recently added a mint Super Famicom to my collection, and getting this has allowed me to download and immediately play hundreds of games right off the bat. Plus, fulfillment only took about a week, week and a half at most. It's super easy to use, all you need is an SD / microSD card reader. There are even different menu styles to choose from. I'll definitely be picking up carts for all other systems I have to enjoy games while buying only my fav games physically.

Excellent Product. FXPak Pro is the best flash cart

Posted by Reviewer on May 13th 2021

FXPAK Pro is just awesome. Worth the price. Works will every SNES game, and even support Gameboy and Gameboy Color which is pretty cool too. The menu navigation is better then most flash carts. I really like the ability to pull up list of recently played games. Highly recommend

    The Greatest!

This device has made me play SNES more than ever. I have all of my back ups on one 32GB micro SD card, and it feels just like the cartridge. This is all you need with an analogue NT or just a SNES with component cables.

The ultimate Flash Cart for the SNES

Posted by Taylor on Apr 19th 2021

The FX Pak Pro is an impressive piece of hardware. Designed by the amazingly talented Krikzz, the simplicity and ease of use allows for the average customer with even the most basic computing skills to get going on an entire library of amazing games on one of the best consoles ever designed.

The menu is clean, navigating through games is quick and painless, and the FX Pak Pro offers all the features of other Flash Carts, providing you the best possible package for all your SNES needs, whether on original consoles or FPGA based hardware.

    Fantastically Versitile

Posted by Celes on Apr 11th 2021

Only been tinkering with it for a little while so far, but I'm already in love! It's soooo fun to actually run romhacks like the Super Metroid/Link to the Past randomizers right on original hardware through this! And with a bit of custom firmware stuff, it can also run the Super Game Boy 2 with some Game Boy games, which has been pretty cool!

    The ultimate solution for SNES

Posted by Michal on Apr 10th 2021

FXPAK PRO is expensive. But it worth every penny. It works flawlessly. Roms are loaded instantly and you have an option to reset your SNES from gamepad, without leaving your coach.

Every game and demo can be loaded (except just few japan games). Games can easily save some data, just as they would with battery based cartridge. FXPAK PRO supports SuperCIC and MSU games.

All you need to start is a SD card and few minutes. You have to download firmware and put its content on that SD card. The GUI can be customized. I used menu theme from StoneAgeGamer's website and it works just great. On Everdrive forum there are other customized GUIs.

If you just want to play on your SNES without any worries this cartridge is a good choice.
