FXPAK Pro (Base)

Light Pipes

The "SD2SNES Pro" was re-branded to "FXPAK Pro" due to a trademark conflict. The FXPAK Pro still is the same great product, just with a new name!

This is the Base version of the FXPAK Pro for All Regions of the Super Famicom and SNES (it will fit into Japanese, European & North American systems). This cartridge comes assembled in a gray shell and a basic label.

Ever dream of having your whole library of SNES or SFC games in a single cartridge? The FXPAK Pro allows you to load your game back-ups (commonly known as ROMs) on a microSD card, put the microSD card into the FXPAK Pro, put the FXPAK Pro into a SNES or Super Famicom and have your list of games at your finger tips. Please read the FLASH CART DISCLAIMER below before purchasing.

Basic Edition vs. Deluxe Edition

The Basic Edition comes with just the FXPAK Pro cartridge with a gray back label in the selected style or configuration covered by a 1-year Warranty. Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge with gold back label, a case, printed manual, an FXPAK Pro sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

  • FREE DIGITAL GAME: Blow 'em Out
  • microSD supported (tested up to 64GB; no exFAT support so SDXC cards must be reformatted using FAT32).
  • Fast ROM loading (~9MB/s).
  • Fast menu navigation.
  • Directories are sorted automatically, no need for FAT sorting tools.
  • High resolution menu (512×224) for adequate display of long file names.
  • Real Time Clock.
  • Supports ROM size up to 128MBit (96Mbit actually implemented).
  • Automatic near-time SRAM saving to SD Card (while the game runs). Some limitations apply:
    • near-time saving is switched to periodic saving when a game is found to use the SRAM as work RAM.
    • Automatic saving is disabled when MSU1 is used. SRAM is saved on reset.
    • Enhancement chip support (see below for implementation status).
  • SuperCIC key (SNES CIC clone):
    • enables operation on unmodified consoles of all regions.
    • supports software 50/60Hz switching on SuperCIC enhanced consoles only (to be performed by FXPAK firmware, not yet implemented there).
    • Auto region patching: eliminates “This Game Pak is not designed…” messages regardless of 50/60Hz setting.

Delivery time was short. This is the best tool for SNES fans who don't want to spend hundreds on just a handful of games. Works great and is easy to setup

Being able to play Super Famicom Wars on original hardware is worth every penny.

What more could be said Krizz’s products, they are simply the best. An added bonus is buying from Stone Age gamer. I’ve been buying from them for years and never gotten less than amazing service with the best quality.

Instant loading, perfect execution of games, including special chips, saves for games with this feature, first-rate material construction, make this everdrive perfect is indispensable for lovers of the super ninendo/superfamicom.

The only caveat I make is that, after testing this cartridge, in practically all super nintendo board revisions, when running on the shvc-cpu-01 board, for example, the kyrby super star game, this one does not work correctly l crashing or running with graphics and sound failures.

One assumption is that it is something related to the voltage of energy due to the existence of the sound off board.

Another requirement is for the use of original SD cards, otherwise the loading is not so fast, in addition to the possibility of damage to the card.

Need I say more? It can handle pretty much every SNES ROM you would ever need to run. I am particularly a fan of the BS-X functionality.

    Very Good Flash Cart

Posted by Andrew on Jan 26th 2022

This is one solid flash cart, covering so many bases with it. I haven't had one issue with it yet, and it's played every game I've wanted to play so far. Even works with randomizers!

Great product that works like a charm. Setup is easy and support for the special chipsets is great. It really saves me from having to constantly pull my old carts out of the boxes and off the shelf to play. Highly recommend for anyone with a collection of SNES games that they want to keep pristine.

I love the wide range of support provided by all the different coprocessor chips. I actually do play Shogi so that effort is not wasted! :)
