  • microSD supported (tested up to 64GB; no exFAT support so SDXC cards must be reformatted using FAT32).
  • Fast ROM loading (~9MB/s).
  • Fast menu navigation.
  • Directories are sorted automatically, no need for FAT sorting tools.
  • High resolution menu (512×224) for adequate display of long file names.
  • Real Time Clock.
  • Supports ROM size up to 128MBit (96Mbit actually implemented).

    • near-time saving is switched to periodic saving when a game is found to use the SRAM as work RAM.
    • Automatic saving is disabled when MSU1 is used. SRAM is saved on reset.
    • Enhancement chip support (see below for implementation status).
  • SuperCIC key (SNES CIC clone):
    • enables operation on unmodified consoles of all regions.
    • supports software 50/60Hz switching on SuperCIC enhanced consoles only (to be performed by FXPAK firmware, not yet implemented there).
    • Auto region patching: eliminates “This Game Pak is not designed…” messages regardless of 50/60Hz setting.

    Excellent Product

Posted by Phil on Sep 9th 2021

I've been using this with an Analogue NT and it works great! I haven't found a game it doesn't play and was able to get the MSU-1 working with ALTTPR easily. Definitely recommended.

    Exactly What I Wanted

Posted by Erick Hilbert on Sep 1st 2021

I picked up the FXPAK Pro in order to keep myself from buying a ton of separate carts that was going to cost me way more money. It was easy to follow the instructions and load in the entire SNES catalog. I additionally was able to search out the needed .bin files to play certain games. Finally, I installed the firmware that added save states and loads. This took all of about 5 minutes. This has been perfect for an adult who sometimes plays for just 10 minutes and needs to save the game at any point. I love this product and picked up the NES version as well!

This will show you just how SUPER the SNES really is!

Posted by Estil on Aug 31st 2021

If only we knew back in the 90s just how SUPER the SNES really could be! Sure you already figure on this (The Artist Formerly Known As SD2SNES) playing most every SNES game but add to that the BS-X stuff (like all those Picross NP games), imports with English translations (Tales of Phantasia is incredible) as well as Super Game Boy support! Must have for any retro gamer!

FXPak Pro is a must buy for all SNES fans!

Posted by Mun Choong Low on Aug 13th 2021

I absolutely love the FXPak Pro!
This is the quintessential flashcart for all SNES owners, with the greatest draw being its MSU-1 compatibility!
No more playing MSU-1 hacks with emulators - it's awesome that I can play these enhanced games on real hardware!
And it works perfectly on the Analogue Super NT as well.
I really have nothing bad to say about this product!

    Cheats are a mess

Posted by Derek on Jul 17th 2021

There is no game genie support with this. You can add cheats, but it requires you to add them to the SD card, open up a program on your computer, change some of the text of the code, and toggle them on and off with hotkeys in game. For SNES games, that is just overly convoluted for 2021.
There is no way to just boot up a game, and add an 8 digit game genie code. Really disappointing. I wish I knew before buying, because I might have gone with the everdrive X6 instead.

    Best flashcart ever made

Posted by Santiago Sanchez on Jul 16th 2021

I've had an sd2snes/fx pak since December of 2014.long before the pro, and long before any special chips were implemented, and it was still the best flashcart on the market for any system bar none. It's a labour of love that's come a long way, and still going.

I must have tested every one of favorite game. Donkey Kong Country 1-3, super metroid, tactics ogre, final fantasy 4-6,so many. I've played translated games, prototypes, hacks, but the sd2snes really shines with features like the MSU-1 and it's ability to reduce hardware issues on later snes models like the white vertical bar on 1chip revisions and so on. Even the menu is customizable.

Of course the best video game system in history needed the best flashcart, best 200 bucks I've ever spent.

I wish I could tell you what the downsides are, but there are none, depending on your expectations. You don't even need a gameboy with an everdrive if you have the FX Pak Pro, you can just use the Super gameboy feature on the fxpak pro and play nearly every game on the library!

    Super Device

Posted by AJ on Jul 14th 2021

It’s a highly compatible SNES flashcart that runs everything I throw at it, special chipped games and all. Nothing beats the authentic feeling of playing the classics on the actual console itself. Furthermore romhacks tend to work flawlessly as well! Highly recommended for any fan of the SNES.
