    GBA Multicart worth the buy

Posted by Scott V on Dec 16th 2021

With this cart you will have access to so many gba games that it would take lifetimes to complete them all. After some initial setup (read the instructions) this cart is super easy to use, happy gaming!

Great device with some minor issues

Posted by Bryan B on Dec 5th 2021

This is basically a copy of my review for the normal grey version of this, but I wanted to start by saying that the look of this variant is great. It doesn't look quite as frosted as in the store picture, it's more closer to just clear with a hint of fuzziness, but I still really love the aesthetic.

Does as it says and plays pretty much any GBA game you can think of. These are top of the line in terms of compatibility. The menu interface for selecting games is not flashy or colorful, it's basically just a black screen with plain text. This to me, is just fine, and works as intended. The overall build quality of the unit is good, and feels close to that of a real GBA cart, though not quite. I had no problems slotting it into my GBA system, it sits flush and does not move/jiggle.

My only gripes are as follows:

    - There is no way to quickly exit back to the game selection screen.

    - If there is a DS slot-2 passthrough mode, I could not figure it out.

    - The slot for the micro SD card is a bit tricky, especially when removing a card. Prepare to have some tweezers to help you.

Overall I would recommend this over other carts if you do not need DS slot 2 passthrough.

    Solid flashcart

Robust design, works perfectly, no issues. For traditional playthrough of games, you can't go wrong with this. That said, if you like to try complex glitches or practice certain areas multiple times without having to cycle through a game's natural time line, you may want to consider the EZ Flash Omega DE since it supports save states. I own both and have no complaints on either. I do hope Krikzz will eventually release an X7 version.

    Krikzz = Quality

Posted by John S. on Jun 17th 2021

I have multiple Krikzz everdrives, every one works great. This one is no exception. Easy setup, works fast, and games with saves work normal, no reset required.

The negatives are there is no soft reset back to everdrive, you must turn on and off the GBA. Though I hear you can mode a reset button to your GBA, so I will look that up. And for you save scummers, there are no save states.

I'm sure when the x7 comes out, these problems will have been rectified, but in the meantime, this works fine.

Looks great with clear modded GBA!

Posted by Jonathon Georgievski on Apr 13th 2021

This clear shell GBA everdrive works with any clear GBA shell! The new smaller form factor is awesome, and works great with the gamecube game boy player add on. A must for any serious game boy enthusiast.
