  Super Convenient

  After researching the topic of adding hdmi ports to retro consoles, and going through the struggle of upgrading the Wii I was pleasantly surprised how simple it is to get a hdmi port on a gamecube. It really just works as long as you don`t mind a long dongle hanging out the back, I definitely recommend adding the support bracket so you aren`t stressing the digital port too much. The remote is a nice touch as well, I don`t really mess with the settings, but its nice to have a easy way to access the menu. Don`t forget to hold B when starting games to enable progressive scan, looks especially fantastic.

  Definitive upgrade

  the Carby HD adapter is the definitive upgrade for gamecube consoles, allowing the gamecube to display on modern television settings. the clear version has a great build quality and cool red light when in operation. I just wish that the settings would actually save whenever the device is powered down. I can't seem to figure out why Store Settings doesn't work well. a instruction manual should be included with this purchase.

  Best HDMI adapter

  After buying two chinese HDMI adapters that broke in a year I bought Carby`s one and from the very beginning the build quality speaks itself. Don`t waste your time with subpar products, just buy the ones that are properly made. I totally recommend Carby HDMI over every chinese version.

  The Easiest Solution for High-Quality GameCube Output

  I`ve been waiting a few months for the CARBY to come back into stock and the wait was definitely worth it. This is the best plug-and-play solution for outputting video from a GameCube. It just works and the remote makes it really easy to tweak settings as needed.
  Beware that if you`re ordering from Canada, you will likely pay over 50% of this product`s price in duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. The latter fee can be avoided by brokering your own package.

  it`s ofc still outputting 3:2 480p not upscaled, but it`s enough for my capture and there are features available on GCVideo github page that people can check out since it has not been changed on firmware level, which is a plus for me. the clarity of the output is as good as 480p can be, which is nice enough even with some graphical artifacts from the effects of forcefully upscaling it from tv/capture (recommended to upscale it using separate hdmi upscaler). the build is solid and with 3d printed support brace, it works perfect for plug&play hdmi solution. very recommended

  Best video option for GameCube and gb/gbc/gba

  I also have a Wii connected via component to a Retrotink 5x, but this adapter makes GameCube games look better on my tv direct via hdmi. Would love a Retrotink 4k sometime to see how could make this even better…highly recommend as best video option for GameCube games AND Gameboy/GBA games if have gba player!

  Adds amazingly clean and sharp 480p output from the Gamecube, can't wait to get my Tink4k and pair this with it. I've also read that Carby is the best build quality when it comes to these GCVideo hdmi devices. Highly recommended!

  I bought this as soon as it became available again. It works flawlessly, I even bought the brace for this device. Combined with the mClassic, you`re getting your money`s worth!
