HD Retrovision Super Nintendo YPbPr Component Cable

The HD Retrovision SNES YPbPr Component Cable is a gift to your eyeballs. In the past, you would be stuck playing Mega Man X and Star Fox with cables that resulted in color striping and bleeding. Those problems are a thing of the past when you start playing your Super Nintendo with an HD Retrovision YPbPr cable. Use them on an HDTV that supports 240p, or on a standard-definition CRT for that classic look.

The following chart contains a list of tested and confirmed console models which have been verified to work with the SNES YPbPr Cable. The intent of this list is to give a general idea of what types of consoles can work with the cable, and is not exhaustive. Therefore, we expect the cable to work with even more models and console types than what is listed, but we are unable to explicitly put them in the list unless functionality is directly confirmed by us.

As highlighted below, there is no out-of-the-box solution for using the SNES/SFC "mini" (SNS-101 / SHVC-101) or Nintendo 64 with the SNES YPbPr cable. These specific consoles require internal upgrade. The upgrade services listed within the chart are the only ones approved by HD Retrovision. Self-installation kits or other similar types of services are NOT supported under warranty.

Picked up this cable for an easy RGB/yPPBR conversion. Works without any issues with my SNES. The build quality is incredible and the quality increase is night and day from using composite!

Best way to experience fully analog N64

I know all the hotness in the N64 scene right now is focused on Analouge's fully digital, HDMI connected 64 FPGA monster - but I'll take a fully analog experience over that anytime. These cables look amazing on my Trinitron connected to my RGB upgraded N64. Not only are the colors well defined, but it makes the AA blur inherent to the 64 a bit easier on the eyes. I have a bunch of HD Retrovisions cables across my retro set up and every single one of them was a game changer for my hobby. You can't go wrong buying these.

I highly recommend this cable, as the cable enhances the color and black and white contrast sharpness over composite and svideo with no visual noise or image bleeding, (like color blending or dot crawl), into the picture. It`s also a perfect fit for use with my retrotink 2x pro. Now my favorite Snes games look way better than using composite and svideo that I was using before on my 2 chip Snes. Also this cable can be used on a Snes mini/jr and N64 that have been upgraded to output rgb.

I ran this out of my super famicom and into a splitter to get to my capture card and CRT and it looks great, after some more fine tuning in OBS I`m happy with the aesthetic.
