Nice RGB cable, works with pigtail adapters I have for a few other systems

Works well on with a modded RGB TV, and with some adapters I have for PS1, Saturn, and Genesis1/SMS.

    Couldn`t Ask for Better

I needed a SCART solution for my PC Engine after purchasing KRIKzz`s EDFX. This cable works wonderfully and now I can enjoy some good ol` PC Engine/Turbo Grafx games in crisp video.

    Audio and Video Noise

Posted by Raikusu on Nov 18th 2022

The cable fits poorly and is too tight on the AV port. The AV connector pins are made of zinc instead of copper or gold which provides better conductivity. There is noticeable video noise and audio noise.

These cables are not fully shielded. Only the csync wire and L R audio wires are shielded. This leaves the RGB wires subject to noise. Also the wires are thin inside which makes them subject to more noise. These cables are not better than cheap generic scart cables you can find online. You should get a proper shielded scart cable that has each wire individually shielded and has copper pins instead of zinc.

I shipped this cable (and a SNES cable) to Insurrection Industries address after I emailed them about checking for defects in the cable because of the audio and video noise. They held on my cables for two months without checking them to see if they performing correctly. I kept messaging them for an update and they said that they were busy and will check them when they can.

After two months of waiting, they finally shipped the cables back to me. They said that the cables met "acceptable" noise standards. I don't see how noticeable audio and video noise can be considered acceptable. They were slow with testing the cables I bought from their website and did not always respond to emails I sent to them asking for updates.

Retro access have scart cables that are priced similarly but offer better noise cancelling and have copper pins. They also have better customer service compared to Insurrection.

The 2 best rgb scary options are either from the UK or insurrection industries. I bought 3 all up. Top quality product and thank you Stone Age Gamer. Tested on MVS/ NEOGEO, jap genesis 2 and PCE with sssd3

Great and cost-effective alternative to HDRetrovision cables

If you are going to be running multiple consoles, i feel like these plus a good quality scart switch and an OSSC are the way to go. You could have this+n64 rgb scart+ps2 rgb scart for the price of a single set of HDRV cables.
The cables are shielded and yield a great picture quality.
Dont cheap out and get scart cables from ebay - make sure you get these!
