The MemCard PRO was designed and assembled by 8BitMods, and it's a brand new offering for the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 (for PlayStation 1 games only) that solves the problem of storing your game's saves forever.

In this latest hardware revision (HW3) there is no longer the need for a PS2 modification for the MemCard PRO to function. Simply plug in, load your favourite PS1 game and enjoy!

High Tech

Using the latest components, the MemCard PRO offers an almost infinite amount of blocks for your PlayStation 1, from a single slot! An ESP32 module provides an incredible amount of power, with a dual-core processor running at 240MHz.

Endless Storage

MemCard PRO can store "virtual memory cards" on a standard microSD card of any size. Everything from 1GB to 1TB works!
Each gigabyte of storage on your microSD card equals to a whopping 8192 memory cards! Yes you've read that right! A 1GB microSD can store 122,880 blocks of PlayStation 1 game saves!

But it doesn't stop there! This little device is packed with features!

A Memory Card with WiFi!?

MemCard PRO can also connect to your WiFi network, to provide extra cool features! At this moment you can browse, mount, delete, edit or rename the Virtual Memory Cards on your microSD card, through an intuitive Web User Interface. It can also update its firmware over the internet, or through the microSD card slot.

.. and an FTP Server! 
Why get up from the leisure of your couch to move files around on the SD card, when you can simply do it over an FTP client? The MemCard PRO can run its own local FTP server which gives you instant access to the whole filesystem of your sd card, without lifting a finger!

.. and an OLED Display!?

Did we mention there is a super-bright OLED display on MemCard PRO? The display can show you the mounted memory card, along with more information like read and write access indicators. It can also show the card's name, which you can set through the WebUI.

Last but not Least...

If you have a modern PlayStation 1 Optical Disc Emulator, it's about to get even more exciting.

MemCard PRO can seamlessly communicate with an ODE and automatically mount the memory card specifically for that game! If it's the first time you're running the game, it will automatically create 8 virtual memory cards for that specific game, and even show the game's name on the display! 

But even if you don't, and you prefer original discs instead, you can still take advantage of the MemCard PRO GameID system! Simply boot your games via UniROM (FreePSXBoot or a UniROM flash cartridge).

We really plan to add more features to MemCard PRO, and everything will be addeed for free, through a firmware update.

    An excellent must have to keep all your saves in one place. Easy to use and if you have an ODE then it makes it much easier to play and save your games.

    This memory card is a godsend for those who have a lot of Playstation 1 games. You could throw in the smallest capacity MicroSD card and literally never fill it. The network management tools still have a way to come, but what is there allows you to backup your saves pretty effortlessly. I own a PSIO, and regrettably automatic game switching feature does not work as of now, but that's not an issue with the MemCard Pro, that's an issue with the PSIO. The automatic game switch seems to be high priority for the next firmware update for the PSIO though, so good things are on the horizon there.

    If you have a lot of Playstation 1 games, or have an ODE, this is a treat, and highly recommended.

    Perfect match for XStation

    I bought this to go with my XStation and it is truly marvelous. I love that it automatically changes the card with the selected game from the XStation. The WebUI for the card's settings is super intuitive and I can't wait to be able to manage blocks remotely through it! Worth, every, penny!

    I absolutely love this thing. It feels like memory card prices are creeping up, and as someone with a PSIO I'm only going to want to play more games. This feels like a perfect solution that acts as the cherry on top of any modern conversion project. I can't gush about this thing enough. It just works!

    I have neglected my PS1 for quite some time simply because my original Sony memory cards have died, and I dare not start any of the console's great library of RPGs on those cheap memory cards found on AliExpress these days.
    Thank heavens for the availability of the MemCard Pro... you cannot imagine how great it feels to be able to play classics like Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears, and Parasite Eve again on real hardware!

    Great to see new hardware supporting old PS1 hardware

    Plugged it in to my memory card slot, updated firmware and just works. OLED screen is a very nice touch displaying game titles and Xstation. These hardware and accessories for old retro consoles are great to see available to purchase. Expensive? Yes, but not unreasonable as it takes a lot to mass produce a quality product to back it up with community support. I gladly support them whenever I can to keep seeing more innovation to make a legendary retro console experience even better!

    Good, but Flawed

    For decades, man has dreamed of being able to have multiple saves of games like Tecmo’s Deception and Civilization II without taking out a mortgage for extra memory cards. This dream is finally a reality, as the MemCard Pro is the last memory card anyone will ever need for their PS1. It’s also somewhat of a pain to use in practice, as the wi-fi feature is finicky and the file management options lack finesse.

    This is worth a purchase, but be ready for some leg work to get things set up the way you want them.

    This memory card is a must have for gamers with an xstation setup. I found a 8 GB sd card to use with it and will have way more than enough space for my PS1 collection. I haven't got around to using the other various features yet, but just the convenience of only having one card and the ability to copy states from the SD to PC is worth every penny!

    The Memory Card Pro is packaged very nicely and it comes with instructions to setup the card. Once I formatted my sd card to Fat32 and downloaded the latest firmware, I can access the many features to create as many memory cards as I need. As an added bonus, I can access all game saves using a web interface to manage all my game saves. It's the ultimate memory card for XStation owners. Highly recommended.
