E) CLONE / MODIFIED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on un-modified original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or modified consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or modified consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or modified consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

    Best option for the Genesis/Mega Drive

    I prefer this to the Terraonion one. It has the standard form factor of a genesis game. The SD and USB do not stick out and keep the sleek lines of the Gensis cartridge. (See SD2SNES, lol) Games load quick, and work well. CD games are awesome, And I love that it works with so many bios files.

    It's only 4 stars, because of 2 reasons.
    1-That button. I wish it was protruding less out the top of the cart. Like when the button is just a plastic cut away or something.
    2- Pier Solar support. I hear it does, but I cant find concrete info for how to get it to work. It would be great if it was clearly stated.

    Got this everdrive after I rebuilt my sega nomad after having great luck with my turbo everdrive I just had to give this one a shot, glad I did! Plays sega cd games with sms, and nes games on my sega nomad! Note: Nomads have to be modified in order to play cd games and sms games, called the triple bypass mod, (people offer the mod on Etsy). Also if you have a nomad like me you need to have the OS version 4.08 or lower to play sega cd games. Other than that, phenomenal product! Couldn’t be happier!

    Absolutely Amazing,but not perfect

    This is absolutely the peak of flash carts, beating out the compitition of any other flashcart on the market for sega genesis. Sadly though, I have a few problems with it.

    The need for Sega CD files to be a single bin/cue file can prove to be troublesome, and leads to some people having trouble getting it to work. Thankfully, on krikzz's site, he has a tool to change all the files needed to the right sega CD file, but aside from that the sega CD quality is near perfect.

    The only other complaint is that we still don't have sega 32X support without the addon, but this doesn't detract from the review. It's just a personal wish that I wish would come in, but I don't know too much about the FPGA that's in the unit, and if it could actually support 32x support.

    This works great, Helps with load times which are tough on the Sega CD. And the quick saves are a must these days as an adult.
    Other great part is you dont need your sega cd out anymore or its power adapter.

    This everdrive works great! I've really enjoyed playing Sega CD games that I've never got to try before. Being able to use custom backgrounds in the menu is really cool too. Recommended

    I grew up with the Genesis and am a better human being because of it. This cart lets me enjoy all of the games I couldn’t own as a kid, and furthermore lets me experience the Sega CD library for the first time. It’s easy to set up, and even easier to enjoy. Rom hacks (and there are like 10 billion Sonic rom hacks) are a blast to play, and feel amazing to experience on authentic hardware. Do yourself a favor and get this.

    It has no comparison with previous versions. Very fast on loading. And of course, the main thing is that you can play the sega CD library. Fantastic!!!

    I picked this up in lieu of a Sega CD and boatload of games. It works perfectly! It's nice to dig into some classics on the real hardware. Super easy to set up and get going. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to experience the Genesis/Sega CD/Master System library without going broke.

    Krikzz has done it again. All of it's features are implemented perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a Genesis/Megadrive
