PLEASE NOTE: Upgrading/Installation Services typically take between 1-3 weeks from the time the console is received until it ships back out.  Please keep in mind that this is just an estimate and it can sometimes go over by a week or 2 during busy times.

PLEASE READ: We highly suggest insuring your shipment to us. We are not responsible for any damage until the console is received and inspected.     Virtual Ribbon Installation and Functionality

    I`ve had the Virtual Boy since it came out. I bought it new at Toys`r`us after it bombed and Nintendo dropped the price to $30. It worked great for at least 20 years but I noticed in the last few years it started showing lines every now and then and didn`t display the image properly, particularly in one eye. I had tried heating up the glue a little and repairing the ribbon connection and that did help for a little while but the same problem came back. I discovered this product and knew it was a real solution. I have a soldering iron but not the kind required for this kind of job. So I sent it in for this and when I got it back there was a problem that most likely occurred on the shipment back. I contacted support and they completely took care of me, had me return it, they diagnosed the problem, and sent it back to me and it is working fantastic like it was brand new. They did an excellent job.

    I first asked a chain repair shop in my town to see if they can fix my virtual boy. They quoted me a pretty outrageous price and gave no guarantees, and took a couple weeks to get back to me about the diagnosis.
    When I discovered stoneage gamer, not only was the price significantly less even accounting for shipping, but I was initially quoted 2 to 3 weeks for the fix after receiving it, and yet they had it fixed and shipped back out in a mere two days. And of course my virtual boy works good as new. If you need a virtual boy fixed, this is the place to get it done.

    I recently purchased a Virtual Boy at Midwest Gaming Classic that needed the ribbon cables reseated. After watching some YouTube tutorials, I came to the conclusion that the repair was well beyond my skillset. I found that the price for the repair was more than reasonable, and even better, the turn around time was really quick. My VB was back to me, as good as new, within a week.

    My Virtual Boy has been in need of ribbon refurbishing for some time now. Stone Age Gamer turned it around super quick right before Christmas and now it works great. The ultrasonic cleaning was worth it, too.

    bought a virtual boy from ebay that has problem with left eye (no image) this upgrade/repair fixed the problem, the added ultrasonic cleaning was excellent as well, turn around time only took about 2 days (extremely fast for a difficult mod). stoneagegamer was able to honor the discount which rolled out few days after i made purchase with original price. this is my second send in for service, i only trust them to fix my stuff.
