This is the Base version of the EverDrive64 X7, nothing fancy. This comes with the PCB installed into region free cartridge shell of your choice with a basic label.

Basic Edition vs. Deluxe Edition

The Basic Edition comes with just the EverDrive64 X7 cartridge in the selected style or configuration covered by a 1-year Warranty. Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge, a case, printed manual, a EverDrive64 sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

FLASH CART / ODE DISCLAIMER

A) PIRACY – Stone Age Gamer Retroworks, Inc. ("Stone Age Gamer") does not support or condone piracy. Flash carts, ODEs, and similar devices Stone Age Gamer sells and supports are intended to be used only for the following purposes: development, playing games licensed by Stone Age Gamer for use with the product, and/or playing currently owned personally backed-up games and media where it is legal to do so. Stone Age Gamer does not offer support for any other use of this product.

B) PERSONAL BACK-UPS – In many territories it is legal to make back-ups for personal use and/or archival purposes, however it may not be legal in all territories. Please learn the national and local laws regarding this subject before making back-ups for personal use. Please note, in most territories "Personal Back-up" means exactly that; back-ups you made yourself of games you currently own. This often does not include back-ups obtained via other methods (i.e. downloading), even if it is a game you physically own.

C) DAMAGE – Neither Stone Age Gamer or the manufacturer is responsible for any damage of property this product may cause. This is a new product intended to be used on electronic hardware that exceeds two decades in age and Stone Age Gamer can’t guarantee the condition of such hardware. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

D) ALTERATION & USE – Any unauthorized alteration and/or non-intended use of this or any other flash cart product sold by Stone Age Gamer shall void both manufacturer and retailer warranties of that product.

E) CLONE / UPGRADED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on unchanged original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or altered consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or altered consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or altered consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

    Perfect Solution for N64 Fans

    With the price of N64 game skyrocketing in recent years, it's becoming increasingly difficult to play some of these amazing games on original hardware. The Everdrive 64 X7 is perfect for people to experience some hard to find games, as well as cutting down on wear and tear on original cartridges. It also has plenty of modern day conveniences like cheats for disabling anti-aliasing without the need for a Game Shark, the ability to play English translations of foreign games (ie Animal Forest) and playing file hacks/mods and unfinished demos. I was able to experience both the Master Quest version of Ocarina of Time as well as the demo for Dinosaur Planet on original hardware thanks to this bad boy.

    I really did just buy this version for the ability to play Animal Forest (N64 DD's Animal Crossing before it was ported to Gamecube) and it is awesome. RTC is a great thing to have. Its small, its minor, but its awesome to have.

    Playing the N64 DD titles is really a lot of fun, and some of the amazing file Hacks and patches coming out for the N64 make this a valuable tool that far exceeds its monetary worth. If you want the ability to play everything you could want to, and more, on the N64 this is where its at.

    Not to mention the continued support, adding features, long after its release, and fixing bugs, Krikzz does an amazing job, and the Deluxe Edition with the Protective Cover is AWESOME!!!!!

    The X7 is Everdrive Heaven!

    This things great! Saw it a couple years back at a friends house and knew right then I would need one.Works as described. SD card was ready to go for my backups. It works flawlessly and I really enjoy it. Gameshark codes work. And there are ways to activate a deblur mode with the gameshark codes. Its a sturdy well made product. I opted for the case and red powerlight. It looks cool in white.

    This works flawlessly. Does everything I want it to. If you have an N64 collection, keep the games for display, back them up and put them on here.

    Had this for about a month now and absolutely love it. An entire N64 library in one cart. With N64 emulation being subpar, this is clearly the way to go.

    Everdrive64 X7 (Base Gray) DeLuxe Edition

    This cartridge plays almost all N64 files without any problems. In addition, it is one of the few MSD cartreaders for the Nintendo 64 that also plays homebrews files. I ordered the deluxe edition and received the cartridge with a protective storage case with an fullcolor printed manual. It is location variation neutral and plays all files from Europe, America and Japan. As far I know, this is one of the few everdrives for the Nintendo 64 that can save games to the MSD card without putting the reset button on the console first. In addition, this cartridge has an internal clock which is very useful for some games.

    Its a fairly straight forward product that works great, and is easy to use. I have bought a few of the 2.5 versions as gifts and was so impressed that I wanted an X7 for myself. Not having to hit the reset button to save games is a simple, but great upsell for me. I sold my entire N64 game collection and used the proceeds to pick this up....and had extra left over. This is well worth the investment to never change a cart again if not for any other reason. I have not tried the NES emulation, so can't comment on that feature.

    The cheapest way to play any N64 game.

    I bought the basic model and it works perfectly fine. Been playing "LoZ Ocarina of Time" (version 1.0) with no problems. Just keep in mind any micro SD card over 30GB will not work with ANY EverDrive by default. You'll need a special formatting pc program for that.

    All the files I have tried worked flawlessly. I have also used this to backup/restore my controller pack before replacing the battery. Using a sandisk micro sdcard, it worked right away so i did not have to try any others. The case and label are very clean looking, aside from the sdcard slot this would could be mistaken for any other n64 cart.
