This is the Base version of the EverDrive64 X7, nothing fancy. This comes with the PCB installed into region free cartridge shell of your choice with a basic label.

Basic Edition vs. Deluxe Edition

The Basic Edition comes with just the EverDrive64 X7 cartridge in the selected style or configuration covered by a 1-year Warranty. Whereas the Deluxe Edition includes the cartridge, a case, printed manual, a EverDrive64 sticker, Stone Age Gamer sticker, and is covered by a 2-year Warranty.

FLASH CART / ODE DISCLAIMER

A) PIRACY – Stone Age Gamer Retroworks, Inc. ("Stone Age Gamer") does not support or condone piracy. Flash carts, ODEs (optical drive emulators), and similar devices Stone Age Gamer sells and supports are intended to be used only for the following purposes: development, playing games licensed by Stone Age Gamer for use with the product, and/or playing currently owned personally backed-up games and media where it is legal to do so. Stone Age Gamer does not offer support for any other use of this product.

B) PERSONAL BACK-UPS – In many territories it is legal to make back-ups for personal use and/or archival purposes, however it may not be legal in all territories. Please learn the national and local laws regarding this subject before making back-ups for personal use. Please note, in most territories "Personal Back-up" means exactly that; back-ups you made yourself of games you currently own. This often does not include back-ups obtained via other methods (i.e. downloading), even if it is a game you physically own.

C) DAMAGE – Neither Stone Age Gamer or the manufacturer is responsible for any damage of property this product may cause. This is a new product intended to be used on electronic hardware that exceeds two decades in age and Stone Age Gamer can’t guarantee the condition of such hardware. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

D) MODIFICATION & USE – Any unauthorized modification and/or non-intended use of this or any other flash cart product sold by Stone Age Gamer shall void both manufacturer and retailer warranties of that product.

E) CLONE / MODIFIED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on un-modified original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or modified consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or modified consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or modified consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

    Plug and play simplicity, no modifications needed. This is amazing. Play everything and save the pins on your carts from the wear and tear of inserting and reinserting to change games.

    Just leave this in and you have everything.

    This runs everything you’d want to play. The DD (Disk Drive) conversions work perfectly, Animal Crossing functions thanks to the real time clock, and the compatibility with romhacks is outstanding (naturally some romhacks are a bit too elaborate for the n64, which isn’t the fault of the Everdrive.). If you’re feeling nostalgic for the N64 then this a no-brainer.

    Once the item arrived, it worked great! It also helps that resetting the console before saving is not necessary anymore as well.

    The Everdrive regnited the joy of playing retro N64 games. I finally get to play the games I missed out on and also hacks that I never imagined working on real hardware. It's totally worth it for the convenience of having everything in one cartridge. No wear and tear on the N64 cart slot by removing games and inserting them over and over.

    With the price of N64 game skyrocketing in recent years, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to play some of these amazing games on original hardware. The Everdrive 64 X7 is perfect for people to experience some hard to find games, as well as cutting down on wear and tear on original cartridges. It also has plenty of modern day conveniences like cheats for disabling anti-aliasing without the need for a Game Shark, the ability to play English translations of foreign games (ie Animal Forest) and playing ROM hacks/mods and unfinished demos. I was able to experience both the Master Quest version of Ocarina of Time as well as the demo for Dinosaur Planet on original hardware thanks to this bad boy.

    I really did just buy this version for the ability to play Animal Forest (N64 DD's Animal Crossing before it was ported to Gamecube) and it is awesome. RTC is a great thing to have. Its small, its minor, but its awesome to have.

    Playing the N64 DD titles is really a lot of fun, and some of the amazing ROM Hacks and patches coming out for the N64 make this a valuable tool that far exceeds its monetary worth. If you want the ability to play everything you could want to, and more, on the N64 this is where its at.

    Not to mention the continued support, adding features, long after its release, and fixing bugs, Krikzz does an amazing job, and the Deluxe Edition with the Protective Cover is AWESOME!!!!!

    The X7 is Everdrive Heaven!
