ElectronXout - Xbox

This tiny, power-packed module takes in the Component video and audio output from the Original Xbox and outputs an HDMI™ signal with embedded Dolby Surround Sound
(if that audio setting is enabled in your Xbox’s settings). Unlike other converters on the market, the ElectronXout is compatible with all versions of the Original Xbox!

This module utilizes a fully custom PCB with a higher quality, next generation IC compared to what is typically used on the widely available analog-to-digital modules that
are readily available online. If you are not happy with those modules, then you will absolutely be happy with these.

These modules are not compatible with the Xbox 360. These are only intended for use with the Original Xbox.

Make sure that your Xbox's audio settings are set as follows:

Audio Mode: Dolby Surround
Dolby Digital: Disabled
DTS: Disabled

This module efficiently supports all of the resolutions that are default to the Original Xbox. This module is able to support all of the following resolutions although they
are not all achievable outputs from the original Xbox: 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p25/30/50/60, 1080i50/60, 1080p24/25/30/50/60.

ElectronXOUT Blowin My Mind

I've long been a fan of fancy unscalers and cables to get classic consoles to look and play properly on modern displays. The effort has always been worth it, but boy does it get expensive quick.

Despite my best efforts, though, my Xbox has always been a bit of an odd man out. Scalers and RGB cables that worked great for the generations of consoles that came before the Xbox, and that even worked for same generation PS2, just didn't work well for Microsoft's flagship home console.

I should mention that I've rarely been a fan of console upgrades, unless it's to repair leaky capacitors. So getting an internal hdmi upgrade isn't anything that interested me. I figured that my Xbox was going to always be hooked up to my CRT exclusively. Forever.

Now, I had heard of the ElectronXout some time ago. But I thought that there was no way some inexpensive, tiny device would deliver the results I've come to expect from much pricier upscalers and cables.

Wow was I wrong!!! I connected my Xbox to my 4K TV through this device, changed all settings to the recommended ones, which only takes a minute, and immediately had my jaw dropped. How can a relatively inexpensive device make 23 year games look so clean, so crisp, so clear?!?! Soul Calibur 2 looks AMAZING through this thing!!!

I can't wait to play through my library of Xbox titles through this, and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I believe this thing sells out quick, so if you find it here and are in the market to connect your Xbox to a modern display, absolutely get this!!

This is so simple to use and I appreciate that it doesn`t need an external power source. It gave a clear picture that allowed me to play in 480p, 720p and 1080i. I wanted to do the hard upgrade for HDMI but saw reviews that this basically does the same thing. Shipping was very fast too.

Themis adapter is the best option for those who do not want to pay a lot of money for an internal HDMI upgrade. It is plug and play and does not need a power adapter which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend.
