  • Fast menu navigation.
  • Directories are sorted automatically, no need for FAT sorting tools.

    • near-time saving is switched to periodic saving when a game is found to use the SRAM as work RAM.
    • Automatic saving is disabled when MSU1 is used. SRAM is saved on reset.
    • Enhancement chip support (see below for implementation status).
  • SuperCIC key (SNES CIC clone):
    • enables operation on unmodified consoles of all regions.
    • supports software 50/60Hz switching on SuperCIC enhanced consoles only (to be performed by FXPAK firmware, not yet implemented there).
    • Auto region patching: eliminates “This Game Pak is not designed…” messages regardless of 50/60Hz setting.

FXPAK PRO Does What It Says

Posted by John Weaver on Jul 9th 2022

I got the FXPAK PRO (MINTY) and it does what it's purpose states. Playing the Fan Translations on real hardware is a great feeling as is playing my collection so that my real software can stay preserved.
When playing with the LevelHike HDMI adaptor, the menu for the FXPAK Pro is kind of pixelated which makes reading the game titles a little hard. Would be nice to see an update that would include support for HDMI on the menu system, the roms have no issues.

Greatest Console Ever and Best Accessory EVER!

Posted by Marc-André Sarrazin on Sep 19th 2021

The SNES probably has the best collection of videogames ever made to be quite honest, or at least imo it's almost a tie between the SNES and PS1 although nostalgia gives the edge to the SNES for me. The FXPAK Pro supports pretty much all games, including the enhanced chip ones except for a few oddities and makes it the best option if you are looking for a way to load all of your games on an SD card. Shout out to all the available colors too, really brings me back to my childhood!

    Exactly what I needed

This cart essentially provides a retro Steam experience in that you have all of your games available to you in one GUI. Setup was extremely simple and using it is just as simple.

The minty green style cart is perfect for my custom painted SNES and it looks great.

Customer service was responsive with any questions I had and provided a great experience overall.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a smooth retro gaming experience.

    Highly recommended

I recently purchased an FXPak for my SNES, and it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Being able to play backups of my collection, as well as play romhacks or translation-patched games directly on original hardware is such a great feeling. And the Minty colorway looks gorgeous--I just wish they had had a version in the OG Nintendo transparent plastic color, Atomic Purple. And Stone Game has been great to shop with--the shipping was incredibly fast.

Pro-tip: don't bother with larger SD cards. I opted for the smallest size Stone Age sold, 8 GB, and even that is positively massive for a card that will likely only ever store SNES and SFC games. These old games are tiny--most have sizes in the KB, a few might top out at a MB or two.

    Great Product

Posted by Nguyen Tran on May 14th 2021

The cart quality is amazing, build is solid. I got the minty color and it is a great accent to my console. I was a bit concerned when I first got it, I purchased it with their microsd and I couldn't get it to boot. Looking closely I noticed it was not format correctly. Grabbed the latest firmware and updated the microsd card and everything was in working order.

    Best snes flash card

The best flash cart for the Super Nintendo. However, there is not a theme for the “Minty” color, which makes it four stars and not five.

    Just get it

This thing is fantastic for playing those fan-translated games that were only released in Japan. I played through Tales of Phantasia with it, which the US didn't get. I'm looking forward to many more.
