It came in and was looking good, that is until I got the game. I tried using this for Cruis`n USA (Used prior), but unfortunately, it tells me I need to insert the original Memory Pak.
This is a great replacement. The cartridge and memory card board are the exact shape and size of the original. I actually took the OEM guts out and replaced them with the guts on this aftermarket pak so now it looks OEM but it’s got a nice fresh memory card in new condition with a fresh battery that should last a couple more decades.
Works fine. Saves correctly. As other reviews as noted the fit is on the tighter side but I see this as a positive as it lives in the controller all the time.
Have 2 original memory paks, both died ages ago so I needed a replacement, bought the old skool memory pak and It gets the job done, recommended

I will trust that the memory pak works as advertised since I don't have a game that utilizes it (yet). I did do a test fit in my Atomic Purple Controller and found a really tight fit that hurt my fingers to try and remove. I had to sand down the sides of the product to get it to fit better but even then it is still really hard to remove. Manufacturer should shrink it a little as the tolerances are far too tight.
I got this as a goof but I'm surprised as how well It fits in my controller and aftermarket items. Especially my wireless 64 controller dock. Saves well too.
