    Good adapter second to Blueretro

Works good even pressure sensitive buttons work with a DS3. Careful when connecting though, since its longer than the original version you might damage the controller pins on PS2

Better than 8Bitdo PS Retro Receiver

Posted by Alex on Oct 28th 2024

This product actually works with Sony DualShock 3 wirelessly (after wired pairing) which makes it ideal for pressure sensitive PS2 games like Zone of Enders or Metal Gear. A great product at a great price which goes beyond 8Bitdo`s offer.

Best option for PS1/2 in modern times

Posted by Les on Jun 27th 2024

I’ve spent way too much time and money searching for a reasonably clean and functional PS2 controller. In all honesty, the dual shock has only gotten better over time. I never thought I would be playing 25 year old games on original hardware with a PS5 controller, but here we are.

I notice very little (if any) latency and never have issues with connection post-pairing. This product eliminates so much hassle while providing choice. Hooking up an arcade stick via USB only sweetens the deal. You can’t go wrong here.

    Does what it says

Posted by Carl on Aug 14th 2023

Has allowed me to use my preferred Xbox Series controller flawlessly on my PS2. Great for racing games as it doesn`t support the PS2 pressure sensitive buttons. Meaning 100% throttle with every button press.

PS3 controller + wireless pressure sensitive buttons

    Posted by A.A on Apr 30th 2023

It`s nice to have multiple options to connect wireless controller to your PS2 console. there is no lag or latency that i could find, and with the ps3 controller most notably, you have ll the features the ps2 controller has (you won`t need to worry about certain oddities in games which need pressure sensitive face buttons.) Brook never fails to disappoint.

Great solution for incorporating PS1 & 2 into modern setups

Posted by Elliott H on Jan 30th 2023

With the three most recent generations of consoles having wireless controllers by default it`s tough to go back to wired solutions for retro systems - this adapter works like a charm to let those older Sony systems slot tidily into your modern A/V setup along the newer systems without draping wires across the room. Pairing a Dualshock 4 was dead simple with a USB cable and wireless performance has been great in my experience - latency wasn`t noticeably worse, but I play JRPGs so take that as you will. All in all a great solution.
