  Brook Genesis to PS4 Adapter

  It`s glorious! I bought it in hopes that this would allow me to use an Xbox 360 Madcatz Tournament Edition microswitch-containing joystick (which I`d reconfigured to be gated for 4-directions only) with Tengen`s Genesis version of Ms. Pacman, when paired in series with a Brook Xbox 360 to PS4 adapter. It does, and plays much better than a standard genesis controller`s D-Pad (even with the mode-button held while starting the game to convert the 6-button controller to 3-button). That is: Genesis Controller Port->This Brook Genesis to PS4->Brook PS4 to Xbox 360->Madcatz TE Fightstick for Xbox 360. It doesn`t need the included micro-USB to two USB-A additional power cable for this setup either. I was about to research button mapping, but as the limited gate on the joystick seems to be enough to not have the 6-button controller compatibility issues with Ms. Pacman, I didn`t need to. Now I`m easily making the turns the way I do on the Apple IIe version I`m used to (which uses simply the keys A, Z, left arrow, & right arrow to avoid direction ambiguity), and the graphics and audio of the Genesis version is better (although the view scrolls up and down, rather than displaying the whole map, on the default and prettiest, to my eyes, preference).

  Let's me Shmup it up or play fighting games on my PC Engine and Sega Genesis with my modern arcade sticks, no input lag that I've noticed. Love it, can't wait for the SNES one that supposed to be in the works.

  Great for fight sticks!

  I got this to hook my Mayflash F500 Elite fight stick up to my Core Grafx for SF2. After updating to the latest firmware, all I did was switch my fight stick to ps3 mode, plug it into the adapter, and plug the adapter into my console.
  
  Switching between 2-button and 6-button mode is super easy (hold ps+square for 6, ps+triangle for 2) and the default layout on my stick is just like my Avenue Pad 6.
  
  I've been getting all the Brook adapters so I can bring the same stick around to all my consoles and have yet to be disappointed. 100% worth it.

  This adaptor is awesome for using my Hori Arcade Pro fight stick with the PC Engine! Definitely recommend picking one up.
