This looks almost like an OEM rumble pak, minus the branding and stickers, so good marks for appearance. Additionally the rumble feature works as advertised, though it isn't quite as strong as an OEM rumble pak. Whether or not that is an improvement is a choice only you can make, but the reduced power also helps make it a smidge quieter, so there are some pros to it.
The example where I detected this difference was Star Wars Episode I - Racer, which tends to really shake the OEM pak, but this one is a little gentler and more pleasant, more in line with modern force feedback devices.
Overall, does what it says on the tin, isn't as strong as the OEM, but the price is pretty agreeable for the package if you aren't a stickler.
