Description

REXUS NEXUS designed the RePSX PSU, a 12v power supply that works with all PSX consoles (both 5 pin and 7 pin connector).

Works with all versions (PAL, NTSC-US, NTSC-J).

A 12v AC/DC adapter with 5.5×2.1mm barrel size positive center tip is required and available as an option.

Compatible with all ODEs (Optical disc emulators)

No soldering required

 

Please Note:   The optional high quality MeanWell power adapter is highly recommended by the manufacturer, who warns against using cheap power adapters with these units.  If you want to save money and use the same MeanWell adapter on all your rePSU units (ReDream, ReSaturn, RePSX, and ReN64), they are all compatible with the same power adapter.

    This psu works great. I installed these in my PS1, PS2, An DC. I just wanted to minimize power cables and heat, so i have one power supply and just use for all three.

    With my aging stock PSU my soldering skills is novice, with this PSU easy drop in and no more worrying about the factory PSU plus excessive heat.

    I've been using one of these for about 10 months now, first couple of months with an unmodified PS, and then with an Xstation installed, and it still works great. Just got a 2nd one for another build. I can play for hours, and not worry about any overheating of the PSU. If you can use a screwdriver, you can install it.
