Purchased slim black version and while it does the job of keeping the slim ps2 upright, my stand is a little loose and easily detaches if the ps2 is lifted up at all, and is also so light in weight it allows the stand and ps2 to move sideways by barely touching -- a little annoying when you change games often or at all and have to keep straightening the ps2 in the cabinet. Will probably end up adding better non slip pads underneath, or something to help it stay in place.
