This aftermarket stand does what it says and mostly meshes well with the design of the Xbox console. The console looks oddly stylish set up this way (at least from its pretty side), like a mini tower of its vintage.
The only reason I`m docking a star is that the stand doesn`t feel quite as secure as Retro Frog`s own PS2 fat stand. The way it is aligned with the grill of the console has a clear ``right`` way to seat it but it isn`t always easy to get it to that spot. Something on the front and back of the stand, or having it longer, might help it have the ``slot in`` feel of the PS2 stand.
Does the job of holding the Xbox OG upright, was going to get th e green color but decided on the black cuz the green may be too distracting lol
To be honest, one of the hardest things about owning a classic Xbox is finding a place for it. Of all the retro consoles, I`d venture to say it`s one of the largest, and with this stand, it works perfectly. It saves us space and improves the console`s ventilation.
This XBOX stand from Retro Frog fits the console perfectly and looks really nice. Before ordering I was a little worried about the XBOX getting knocked over once stood vertically, but once I received and setup the stand it was obvious it provided adequate support. Very happy with it, highly recommend.
