    Neo SD MVS

Posted by Keith Partin on Jan 28th 2022

I really wanted the NEO SD Pro, but those are hard to come by. I have a consolized MVS and the Neo SD is by far my favorite flash cartridge that I own.

I also own an FXPak Pro for my SNES, and Everdrives for my GBA, Gameboy, PC Engine, and N64. TerraOnion makes some of the best flash carts out there, no offense to Krikzz and his amazing products. I also have their Mega SD for my Genesis and I am highly considering getting an ODE for my Sega Dreamcast very soon.

This is a top of the line product, and I highly recommend purchasing it as soon as it is back in stock.

    NeoSD MVS

Posted by Phillip Rodriguez on Jan 5th 2022

I purchased the NeoSD MVS to go along with my OMVS. Not having owned anything AES or MVS before, I was in awe at how hefty the shock box and cartridge felt in my hands. Makes you want to say to yourself "Now I'm playing with power." The build quality feels premium. Instructions for setup of micro SD card and registering product was straight forward and easy to follow. Once everything was in place I booted it up with zero issues. The NeoSD interface is easy to read and rom list is fast to scroll through. After choosing which game to play (Metal Slug X in my case) it only takes about a minute to flash onto cart. The game then loads instantly. Blissful arcade action awaits! I would highly recommend for someone that wants to play on original hardware. Prices for original MVS carts continue to rise and make it challenging to get into Neo Geo gaming.

The NEO SD MVS Best Ever

Posted by F KAT on Dec 27th 2021

I'm recently dropped money on the Consolized MVS
And started with the cheap buggy 161 in 1 carts and the headache of going thru the many hacks to find a game.
The MVS carts are only going up in price. This cart $450 ish dollars and your done. Buy this one!!

    Pretty nice flash card

Posted by Dave on Jul 25th 2021

It does what it says on the tin, and lets me play games largely without hassle. Expensive, but at a certain point in a neo geo collecting journey, MVS carts start costing close to what this flash cart does per-game. I will say that it's tricky to get roms into the correct format, especially roms that the tool does not recognize (homebrew, low-volume releases, etc). On the up side, many current homebrewers are now releasing their roms already in the correct format.

    NeoSD MVS

I really cannot say enough good things about this product. The Terraonion team is really talented. I use this in a 2-slot MVS machine and I have had no issues with it. Would be nice to have the Pro but I just use game carts in one slot and this in the other so select game still works as intended. Would buy again if I ever get my hands on a Neo 25 candy cab :P

    I love this cart!

Posted by Tony Meza on May 5th 2021

This is by far the best neo geo investment I ever did. Especially the high price of carts I can now play them all on this cart. The cart also looks really cool it looks good on my MVS. I'm OK with games taking minute to load.

    Quality Product Lacking Developer Support

Posted by lynxtosg on Jan 10th 2021

The hardware works as expected. The developer recently removed forums containing a lot of support information. Now you need to join discord to get help. Also, firmware is drm locked, which hurts long term support.

Amazing device, easily worth the price

Posted by Stephen Lerch on Jul 14th 2018

Without question this is the best Neo Geo device I've purchased. I now have every Neo Geo game at my finger tips, I can play them all on original arcade hardware (or Super Gun) and it feels like a quality device. The only downside, once you get over the price (easy to get over considering the price of MVS carts continue to climb) is the loading time. For me though, it's a non-issue. The longest game I've found to load is Garou which was probably about 3-4 minutes. The thing about that, for me, is that when I play an MVS game, I tend to play for hours. I loaded TSS and played for 3.5 hours the other day. It took 30-40 seconds to program and when I came back later to ply again, it was still loaded. Fantastic device, even at the initial price.
