I mean, what else do you want it to do? It`s an effective extension cable that allows me to keep the N64 up behind the TV instead of on the floor. There`s hardly anything that can be done about getting the connection between controller and extension cable to lie flat without cutting the controller port open and doing some custom wiring. So if you`re overly concerned about tripping hazards like I am, I would be mindful of where that connection is going to be when planning to put a floor mat or something for neat cable management. Would definitely recommend.
Does what it says it does. Lets you extended the original N64 controller cord so you don`t have to have the N64 sitting in the middle of the floor. We`ve had no issues with Ocarina of Time or Majora`s Mask.

Does exactly what it needs to do so you can use your wired N64 controllers on the couch. Connectors aren`t overly tight like some of the other extenders are too.
For sure needed with a big screen old skool console upscale for those that prefer a hardwired controller. Worked great for me no issues at all!
Besides having a gigantic setup, I mainly use wireless controllers. So these make a great convenience for friends that come over. I recall these coming in plastic bags rather boxes though. Don't know why but they did.
I've owned this product for a little while now and it was all working great until yesterday.
Yesterday, I picked up some of the original Pokemon games for GB as well as Stadium (with the transfer paks). Using two controllers (with two of these extensions) and two transfer paks, I found out that the transfer paks will NOT function with these extensions in place. I'm guessing some sort of signal degradation due to the extra length or something. Unplugged the extensions, everything worked -perfectly-.
I haven't had any issues with memory cards or rumble packs, but the transfer pak simply would not work for me - be warned if you're looking forward to playing Stadium on your couch.
