PLEASE NOTE: This is not a memory pak.
The Jumper Pak is required for any N64 system to play. To install the jumper pak, plug into the console's memory expansion port.
keep in mind this goes in a n64 console`s expansion slot. that might seem obvious, but sometimes people can get confused because there *are* `paks` that go into your gamepad. (memory pak, controller pak, transfer pak, rumble pak) ( not to be confused with a game pak, or cartridge) an n64 originally comes with this jumper pak, but they tend to get lost after someone removes it and installs an expansion pak. this is fairly priced. I like the box design and the `Jumper Pak 64 OS-7234` sticker`s colour scheme.
not much to talk about, its actually supposed to be non-descript. the expansion pak is meant to have the noticable changes.
why buy this? well, if you don`t like that some games force expansion pak enhancements, or that space station sillicon valley crashes with the expansion pak, you can use this and be good to go.
I mean, it does what it needs to, and it`s pretty cheap. All that this has to do is properly terminate the RAMBUS connector, and it does it just fine. It`s a little tight compared to the expansion pak I have though.
As far as i can tell it just terminates the points in the expansion slot, so theres no issue with using 3rd party (unlike the expansion pak).
Seems weird giving a 5 star review to an inanimate carbon rod but its a very good price and does its job flawlessly
