I ordered one of these to replace a joystick with a damaged button.
Installation isn`t terribly difficult but the components are quite small and you`ll need a Y00 triwing screwdriver to open the joycon.
The unit fit without issue. You can tell that it differs from OEM because some differences in color of the ribbon and the back of the joystick lacks a pattern pressed into the metal. Externally though, it looks identical.
After installation, the stick did require calibration. Which is fine, but keep this in mind before you jump into a game. It wasn`t actively moving like a drifting stick, it just wasn`t reporting exactly center.
I`m giving this 5 stars because out of the box it seems to work fine, I`ll keep an eye out for any changes in behavior but as of now, the product is as described.
