Show Notes
This week, Dan and Kris expand the reach of their regular monthly segment with the first 10 20 30 40, discussing notable game releases from 10, 20, 30, and 40 years ago. They cover February 2010’s anemic Wii releases, February 2000’s killer Dreamcast lineup, February 1990’s double hitter of Batman and Super Mario Bros. 3, and theoretical February 1980’s Atari 2600 games.
At the top of the show, Dan naturally spent some time with PAD, but he also enjoyed a sort of interactive movie along the same lines of games like Heavy Rain and such. Meanwhile, Kris went ahead and preordered Animal Crossing, played more Zelda and Kid Icarus, and lamented the games he knows he should be playing but isn’t. Plus, the return of Tiger LCD games, the art of Nintendo Power, a potential sequel to The Messenger, and more!
