This is the Mega EverDrive Pro. It’s a Flash Cart for the Sega Genesis that allows you to play your entire personally backed-up Genesis or Mega Drive library, as well as Sega CD, Master System, and 32X, on original hardware from a single micro SD card. Here’s a closer look. 

This is the cart itself. It’s available in numerous color and label variations, and can be upgraded to a Deluxe edition which comes with a BitBox storage case, additional year warranty, user manual, and stickers. The cartridge is the same size and dimensions as a standard Sega Genesis cart, and fits into your console’s cartridge slot like so. 

Here’s how it works. 

For Place your game files into your SD card via whichever organizational method you choose. Then take your Micro SD card and insert it into your EverDrive, plug that into your Sega Genesis, and you’re ready to begin. 

For Genesis and Master System games, simply select the game you want to play and and start it to begin playing exactly as it would if the original cartridge were in your console. For Sega 32X games, you will need to have a 32X unit plugged into your console. And for Sega CD games, once the appropriate additional system files have been added, they will boot up as normal, without the need for an actual Sega CD unit.  

During gameplay for Sega Genesis and Master System games, an in-game menu can be opened, which can give you access to save states, cheat codes, and more.
