This is the GCHD MK-II HD Adapter from EON. It’s a simple plug and play solution for connecting your GameCube console to modern high definition televisions. Here’s a closer look.
This is the GCHD unit itself. It features a standard HDMI out port, as well as a Wii component/SCART port for additional output options. It also comes equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack for analog and optical digital audio setups. It comes in two different color configurations, Black and Indigo. Here’s how it works.
Plug the GCHD into the back of your GameCube console, and connect an HDMI cable from the unit to your TV. Note that the GCHD is only compatible with GameCube units that have the digital AV out port.
Turn your console on, and you’re ready to play. If your console doesn’t automatically prompt you to do so, you can enable progressive scan mode by holding the B button when booting your game.
For more information other options like optical audio support, remote functionality, and more, refer to the included instruction manual.
