Please do not over-tighten the screws, you could damage the screw posts by over-tightening them.
 

For SHVC-CPU-01 model , you have to remove those special designed posts makred in next photo with  “diagonal pliers”

    Looks great, headache to put together.

    Out of the box the shell does not like screws. I had to put in a lot of elbow grease to tighten all the screws so the board fit nicely into the bottom shell. Without overtightening, the top shell had very little clearance that the RESET button was constantly pressed, making the console unplayable. After overtightening every screw, everything fit nicely. Also the white sliding piece for the Power Button needed to be sanded down so it would fit. Seems like an issue with the mold. At least in the end it looks really nice and the SNES works again.

    Just took a bit of work to assemble. Had some trouble with the power button but got it working eventually. Really awesome looking case.

    The plastic is high quality and it was easy to install. It vastly improved the look of an old SNES I had, that had a yellowing and cracked case.
