Good for the most part

This fits the 5501 model very well. The reason I took off 1 star is because the part that makes the shell think the door is closed sometimes gets stuck in the ``up`` position and so the console doesn`t boot up fully sometimes. It`s easily fixed by pressing the round piece down but if you don`t know about that piece then it`s a long head scratching process to figure out why the console won`t properly boot up.

Great shell but read compatibility carefully!

I ordered a transparent shell and it looks great. It showed up quickly and there were no problems with it. However I failed to carefully read the list of compatible models and unfortunately the two PS1 units I own are both incompatible.

So if you`re looking for a quality PS1 shell this is great. I can recommend it. Just be certain to double check your PS1 model for compatibility!
