Product ultimately works and requires some soldering. There are a few noteworthy differences between this and OEM. Firstly, don`t expect the colors match OEM exactly. Secondly, the length of the cables are just an inch or two longer than OEM. Thirdly, if you`re planning to use just the cable but replace the socket case at the end with an OEM one, be aware that removing this will be challenging and the 3 connector ends of the cable had trouble seating sitting tightly in an OEM connector latch. Not at all a deal breaker. The cables and connectors were fully functional either way. Buy this if you`re looking to avoid doing a hack job on your OEM N64 controllers. This the only store online you will likely find these parts for an actual replacement unless you pull a cable from an original controller.
