PLEASE NOTE: A few users have reported running into issues on very early Neo Geo console hardware. If you have a 5v version of the console (Model Neo-AES), and you believe it is a very early version, you could possibly run into some graphical glitches (this may or may not be a compatibility issue with the Neo SD AES and could have been isolated issues reported by the users). Also, currently 1 game is known to NOT be able to be used with this flashcart, which is the homebrew game called "Last Hope".

E) CLONE / MODIFIED CONSOLES – Flash carts / ODEs were developed and intended to be used on un-modified original hardware using original hardware accessories. Stone Age Gamer does not guarantee flash cart / ODE operation on clone consoles or modified consoles. Flash carts / ODEs may operate on some clone consoles or modified consoles. However, due to power consumption changes, random hardware changes and/or firmware updates of those consoles we cannot offer a guarantee of flash cart compatibility. Any returns due to incompatibility with clone consoles or modified consoles will result in no refund of any shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee if no defect is found during testing.

Amazing once it’s working

Finally got my NeoSD after preordering last year, probably should have gotten an SD card from SAG with it because this thing is very picky about what SD cards will work with it. Tried about 5 different cards of various makes and sizes before finding one that would flash games to the cartridge properly. It’s amazing though now that I have it working!

I pre ordered the Neo geo sd pro and finally I received it! It came in a nice snap lock case along with the 256gb micro sd card that I ordered as well. Super bubble pop was already on the cart when I fired it up. I took the time to download all the files for the complete collection of Neo aes games as well as Neo cd games and now my Neo collection is complete. The Neo sd pro is the holy grail for my American Neo geo aes system. This is a must have for all true Neo fans and it’s worth the price of it. Stoneage gamer thank you so much for bringing the Neo sd pro back for us Neo fans to purchase.

This is as good as it gets! So easy to use, beautiful, fully functional, well-made. A show piece and easily my most used flash cart. If you're going to be playing Neo Geo, you need to get the best of the best, and this is it. This is THE flash cart to own.

The one thing you need if you have a Neo Geo AES

If you got here you know exactly what you are looking for, a way to play your favorite Neo Geo games without spending an absolute fortune, or even playing the games you own without damaging your existing priceless cartridges. The NeoSD does all that and more, you can flash 4 games in non volatile slots for super fast loading each time, and then you have an extra volatile slot for playing one off games, although this will take some time due to the flashing process.
I don't think there's much more to say about this piece of equipment other than, if you have a Neo Geo AES (or MVS) you absolutely need to have a NeoSD.

I've got nothing but amazing things to say about this item. I have a few AES cartridges but they have become increasingly impossible to purchase with the current pricing. This unit works flawlessly and lets me relive all the joy I had as a teenager in the arcades. This system has always been my favorite and I'd been disappointed with my inability to get some of the games I truly love. This has been amazing not only for me but for my kids to experience the games I had talked about for so long and everyone loves it.

Stone Age Gamer was great the entire process as well. I contacted them with questions and they were extremely fast to respond with detailed answers. Getting that kind of customer support definitely made me feel like a valued customer and gave me assurance that if I did have any issues, they'd be dealt with in a timely manner. Shipping was ridiculously fast. I had the item within a couple days of ordering. I'll definitely be purchasing from them again in the future. Thank you!

If you're interested in Neo Geo, you know nothing is cheap and it can be quite intimidating. The NeoSD Pro AES softens the blow quite a bit by giving you (mostly) full access to the cartridge and CD games. Unfortunately CD support is more of a bonus feature but all the games that I tried worked great. Due to the sheer size of the games, loading takes a bit of time but the various slots you can load them to for later use helps. This is a great option if you don't have room for an arcade cabinet and Neo Geo CD console or just want to enjoy being able to enjoy your games on the couch!

The Neo SD Pro is a wonderful device in my opinion. I like the completeness of being able to do the Neo CD. Admittedly for me the RAM slots are less important-but very nice to have. If you are tossed between the regular Neo SD and the Pro, Go Pro:-)
