Jag2SNES AV Adapter for Atari Jaguar - Humble Bazooka

Jag2SNES Atari Jaguar 2 SNES Audio Video Adapter - Humble Bazooka

Humble Bazooka's Jag2SNES allows you to use Super Nintendo AV cables with your Atari Jaguar. This provides a more common and readily available solution for connecting your Atari Jaguar to a CRT or HDTV*. The Jag2SNES works great with HD Retrovision cables and upscalers like the RetroTINK 5x and OSSC. The Jag2SNES helps you get the best picture quality from your Atari Jaguar.

Features:

  • Two color shell design
  • Shell designed to securely connect to the AV port of the Atari Jaguar like OEM cables.
  • Supports Super Nintendo AV cables including Composite, S-Video, RGB SCART, and HD Retrovision Component cables (recommended).
  • Allows you to use an OSSC or RetroTINK to upscale for better video quality.
  • Properly attenuated CSYNC.
  • Output voltage is regulated to 5v for RGB televisions and upscalers like the OSSC
  • Doesn't obstruct the DSP Port of the Atari Jaguar allowing you to use a JagNet.

*Some modern HDTVs aren't able to display the native resolution of the Atari Jaguar (240p). This is not a limitation of the Jag2SNES but rather your TV. To use your Atari Jaguar on a TV that does not support 240p signal, we recommend using a scan converter / upscaler like an OSSC.

Hooking up a Jaguar the easy way.

Posted by Joseph Chaparro on Jun 9th 2021

It's not easy buying quality Scart cables for your Atari Jaguar but now it's no longer a issue getting high quality RGB out of the Jaguar with the Jag2SNES adapter just use the SNES hd retrovision component cable with the Jag2SNES for the best picture. Now lets say your setup gear's more towards S-Video then the Insurrection Industries N64 S-Video cable will work perfect seeing as the N64 uses the same A/V hook up as the SNES. The Jag2SNES is a high quality product at a affordable price that allows you to use other high quality products that was once reserved for Nintendo product owners. Now get your Jag ON!

I was looking for Jag cables to replace my composite cables when I came across this. I already had a SNES RGB SCART cable. I hooked it up, and it works perfectly. Now I have RGB picture I can hook into my OSSC.

Great product for Jaguar owners, this product with some HD retrovision cables and your Jaguar will look amazing on your Flat screen. Easy to use, slides right into the back of the console, then just hook your cables up and good to go, can do better for the price point
