    it does a job

if you use OBS with this, make sure to add it as a `video capture device`, go to `properties` and *uncheck* `use buffering`. the buffering will make input lag terrible. turning it off doesn`t make it perfect, but its better. also make sure to add an `audio input capture` or `audio capture device` alongside the video one in the OBS scene -> sources. obs will seperate the audio and video so you will need both to get both.

even if the console and the device settings in OBS are set to 720p, it does not seem to be 60fps. but otherwise works fine.

also do not connect this device straight into a USB port directly. it is heavy enough to bend the port so you should get an USB type A plug to USB type A socket extension cable to act as strain relief. plug the adapter into the socket end and the extension`s plug into the port instead.

like all adapters that pass through power, it may get warm so don`t put anything meltable or burnable under it. I doubt it actually would melt or burn anything, but its like a charging block. it will be warm.

    Its alright

for what it is, yeah, not bad. it can accept up to a 4k signal, but it will down convert it. it also claims 60 fps at 720p, which might be true, but I think theres input delay.

but thats not a dealbreaker. use this with a splitter and have this on the recording side, don`t use it to play off of. it does work in OBS, select `video capture device` as input.

I`m not sure it does audio.
its nice if you just want video in on a laptop or something or for quick monitor tests
