    The best P4P so far!

Without naming the other brands, I am happy with this product because it just feels right. It`s fairly accurate and the proof is that F-Zero X plays nicely with it (after a bit of practice ofc).

Anyway, the installation is just as straight forward as any other replacement of the same.

Remember that a drop or two of liquid grease could go a long way towards preserving this stick under heavy use.

    Magnificent... So Far

I`ve always had my doubts about third-party replacement sticks, as many of them get poor reviews or only work for a short time due to their cheap construction, but I decided to give this one a shot. Being a Hall Effect design is promising, since that should be inherently less susceptible to wear, but the low price and lack of reviews had me pretty wary.

I`ve had it for a few days now, and I`m exceedingly impressed so far. I`ve tested it with Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, and Majora`s Mask—games I`m extremely familiar with, so I would know right away if something was wrong with the stick`s response—and there just isn`t. It feels amazing—it`s much more comfortable than the original, and it`s very precise; I`ve had no issues with tracking or dead zone or anything of the sort.

The stick is rubberized, so it`s much more grippy than the original (in a good way, not an abrasive way), it requires surprisingly little force to move (in a good way), and it is incredibly smooth throughout its travel. If you`re familiar with the stick on the Dreamcast controller (which is a Hall Effect design), this feels almost exactly like that—very smooth and very little resistance.

My only concern is longevity, as it was very inexpensive. Will it last years, or will it give out after a few months? I have no way to know right now. However, given that these concerns are purely hypothetical at this point, I cannot reduce the rating for that.

Concerns about longevity aside, it`s flat-out magnificent, and I`m proper chuffed about how nice it feels to use. If it turns out to last a really long time, then I might be the best $14 I`ve ever spent. If it craps out on me in a year... well, at least it was only $14, and I would just buy another one.
