I used cheap component cables for years, but also had washed out colors and noise on the picture, even with a Retrotink 2X. These cables solved both problems at once, and are much more ruggedly constructed to boot. Bought after a great experience with the N64 cables from II. A far cry from the RF connection I used on this console at launch!
Infinitely better than the cheaper S-video cables I`ve tried for my Dreamcast. It`s a night and day difference and absolutely worth the money. Best S-video cable for Dreamcast hands down.
This works great for my Dreamcast. Such a great picture out of it. I like this better than the VGA option, since some games don`t support VGA picture.
Wanted to give Insurrection Industries a try and boy am I glad I did. The picture quality is on par with SCART and there is virtually no noise at all. These cables are thick and shielded, just how I like them!
