SAG Podcast 478: Just Enough to Sustain the Joke
Show Notes
It’s time once again for the 10 20 30 40 on the Stone Age Gamer Podcast, where Dan and Kris look back at notable game releases this month from decades past. What kind of games were released in August 2013, 2003, 1993, and 1983? Well, the answer kinda surprised us! The first chunk of the year has been pretty lackluster overall, but this month brings a number of actual all-time classics. Every decade had at least one good game, which is a huge improvement for this year. Stuff like Soul Calibur II, Street Fighter II: Turbo, Jr. Pac-Man, Rocket Knight Adventures, and more! But can they make it through the whole thing before Kris has to run off to the bathroom, leaving Dan to vamp for a mysteriously long time? Probably not, but there’s only one way to find out, right?
Plus, Kris is on a mission to polish off The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom before Sea of Stars comes out, Vampire Survivors is awesome in multiplayer, Dan encounters some annoying stuff in Marvel Snap, and a whole lot more!
