Stone Age Gamer Retroworks, Inc. is does not do any in-house printing for BitBoxes, all printing is outsourced to a third party printer. We pick-up prints from the printer every Thursday to ship. We offer our cover art printing strictly as a service to customers who do not have the means or desire to print the cover art themselves. We encourage all customers who have the ability to do prints themselves to do so. Please see links below to download all available cover art free of charge from our Dropbox account.
WEDNESDAY PRINTING – Printing for all orders is done every Wednesday. The print order will then ship the following Thursday. This means we must receive your print selection order by 12:00PM [noon] (EST) on Wednesday. If it is not then it will most likely be queued for the following Wednesday.
PAPER TRIMMING – A stack cutter is often used to cut hundreds of prints at one time, so prints may shift up to 1/16" during the cutting process. We do attempt a quick inspection of prints, but there may be cases where art, text, or designs that are close to the edge will be cut off. We cannot offer refunds or replacements due to this issue. If the customer prefers to do the cutting themselves then please select "DO NOT TRIM" option above. If this is stated you will receive your prints uncut in 8.5" x 14" (21.59cm x 35.56cm) sheets with a 1/16" bleed on the art.
BLURRINESS, DISCOLORATION, PIXELATION, AND OTHER DEFECTS – All prints we use are provided by volunteers at TheCoverProject.net. There may be cases where prints or certain areas of prints appear blurry, discolored, pixelated, washed out, etc. This is not something we have control over. Prints may not always be perfect replicas of the original box art. For example, the gold color on the Zelda box art may appear more brownish / green. We cannot offer replacements or refunds due to such issues.
FULL ORDER SHIPPING DELAY – If you order other products along with BitBox prints in the same order your whole order shipping will be delayed until the prints are ready. If you do not want other products being held up by the printing process then please place a separate order for those products.
