This brackets mounts the FZ-1 3DO’s CD-ROM drive door to the bottom shell for when an Optical Disc Emulator (ODE) is installed. This bracket is a great alternative for when our FZ-1 Door Clips can’t be used due to compatibility. When an ODE is installed the CD-ROM drive is removed, which held the original door in place. This bracket helps to solve that problem by providing a mounting solution.
Mounting location
The FZ-1’s LED light pipe should have a center hole, pictured below. This hole is required for using this bracket. From our research, we believe all FZ-1 models have this hole but please check your FZ-1 has this mounting location prior to purchasing this mount from one of our resellers.
Note: this bracket requires harvesting one of the motherboard screws.
