I`m gonna be upfront, if you only have a few cartridges that would need to be cleaned, this is probably overkill. However, if you have a large collection, or are expanding your collection, then this is a very useful tool.
Usage is pretty straightforward, and if you already have some good isopropyl alcohol and some sort of dropper bottle, you probably don`t need the bottle they sell. Dampen the side marked ``fluid`` and then rub the fluid side vigorously on both sides of the PCB, then do the same with the Dry side. Let it dry for a bit, then test.
While you can clean just fine with something like q-tips and IPA, I think this is still useful for larger collections, or for quickly cleaning games to test after picking them up.
A word of caution: These do not last forever, and will need to be replaced eventually. In my experience, I`ve cleaned around 40 cartridges and it`s fine; but I imagine after another 60 or so, I might need to replace it.

These make cleaning so easy and are long lasting. I need say no more, just buy some.
I just purchased this for the first time a few days ago. I've seen them for years but never got around to actually buying one and I'm so glad that I did. It's much more convenient than using q-tips and I feel like it does a much better job. Whoever came up with this is genius because it's such a simple but obvious solution! And it doesn't leave the little fibers that the q-tips sometimes leave on the contacts when cleaning them. I'll definitely be picking up a few of these so I will always have them on hand.

The felt is similar to the felt on a furniture mover pad, densely compact with no loose fibers, and is cut with exacting thinness to fit easily into a game cartridge. It`s firmer and rougher than the Old Skool brand cartridge cleaning card, but still completely non-abrasive to metal contacts. The foam mounting layer gives an added springiness that helps clean uneven surfaces, and the plastic backing can be flexed to provide additional leverage in tight spaces. Simple and much more effective than a cotton swab when used with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
I`m glad I purchased it, as it is lees cumbersome than actually opening cartidges to clean them (this will 95% of the times do the job alone).

Going through my old carts there were a handful that just wouldn`t load up on various consoles, so I figured I`d give this a shot with the 1-Up cleaning solution. All I can say is WOW! Worked like a charm! Every game I was having issues with fired right up after using this. The pad has just the right thickness to apply pressure to the pins when moving it across them. Highly recommend!
