4-40 screws require the screw holes to be drilled out in this product. If you order this product without the screws holes being drilled out this product includes two nickel philips screws. If you request the screw holes to be drilled it means you will be using our 4-40 screws.

This shell is NOT compatible with the following Super EverDrive / SD2SNES flash carts:

  • Super EverDrive X5
  • SD2SNES Rev. J (microSD + micro USB)
  • SD2SNES Rev. K (microSD + micro USB)
  • SD2SNES Pro Rev. B that have an assembly date before 2019-02-13

WARNING: This shell will only work in North American systems. It will NOT work with any other region.

This is a Ruby (transparent red) North American style SNES shell that is cut using a CNC machine into the selected flash cart configuration (select above). 4-40 screws require the screw holes to be drilled out in this product. If you order this product without the screw holes being drilled out, this product includes two philips screws. If you request the screw holes to be drilled it means you will be using our 4-40 screws.

    I`ve purchased from SAG for a long time now and I recently needed a replacement shell for my SNES everdrive. Shipping felt almost instant! Before I know it I had a nice new shell in transparent red and man, it looks so good! Best products, best customer service!

    I ordered this shell to replace the European Version that comes with the FX Pak Pro Everdrive. It was easy to swap and looks great. Highly recommend.

    Ruby SNES FXPAK Pro Shell

    I bought the FX PakPro and have loved almost everything about it. The one thing that I didn`t like, and this doesn`t affect everyone, was the European style cart shell. I put up with it for weeks, until I happened to notice on Stone Age Gamer that they sold North American style shells. So I bought one, installed it, which could not have been easier, and now the cartridge matches the rest of my SNES collection. Thanks Stone Age Gamer!

    The shell is very nice quality and it fits perfectly into an SNES. It's almost perfect, but I did have to file down the edges for the SD slot so that it would close all the way with the PCB inside. The screw holes are larger than an original SNES cartridge security screw, so those don't quite fit. For now I just closed the shell without the screws and it holds together fine, but I'll eventually find screws that fit. Overall, this is a great shell that just needed a little tweaking.
