I use this to test and play my retro games some I repair and such and this is a simple solution to my process. It also has both controller inputs in case you want to use your OG hardware. It's pretty light weight so maybe mounted or left on display for access helps. No issues on my end.
I've had the Retron 2 by Hyperkin for almost a year and I can say... This is an amazing clone console. Take a look at it and it looks sleek, nice, and just like a SNES (especially if you get the Purple/Gray version) and you got one NES controller and one SNES controller. The problem with the controllers is that the dpad's on both of them are weird and the controllers brake way to easily. It all matters about the games so its just like playing a NES or a SNES when you're using this thing also it's compatible with you original NES and SNES controllers just in case if you want to use a zapper or even the SNES mouse! The color and sound is great almost sounds like the NES but very very close to the SNES. Overall this is a great console! Keep up the good work Hyperkid
The Retron 2 is a great NES/SNES throwback knockoff system! The packaging is great the NES controller is great! But the SNES D-Pad is a bit weird and both D-Pads squeak a lot. Also the buttons are raised which isn't that bad in conclusion this console is great!
