I plugged in the USB, a cartridge, and I was on my way to backup up the ROMs for stacks of my old games. This is a must have for collectors wanting to protect and preserve their games.
this was the last plug in for the retrode I needed I now have every attachment for it. this allows sega master systems games to be ripped to a computer and played on a emulator or real hardware. in my case I use a sega genesis flashcart and play my master system games on the genesis.
Like another review said, this is a real no-brainer. If you've got a big collection, make some time to sit down and go through them all as it's super easy to plug and archive. Once you start, you'll want to back up all you have!
This seemed like a must-have accessory when I was finally able to pick up a Retrode, and it didn't disappoint. Backing up my SMS library was simple, and most importantly let me preserve my childhood save game files before the batteries died.
