Tap into the OG Xbox's higher resolution modes

Posted by AJ on Dec 26th 2021

The Xbox was capable of outputting 480p/720p/1080i unlike most consoles before it, but those higher resolutions didn't do much good because most people were still using component cables. Levelhike's cord will let you take advantage of the higher resolutions to stunning effects. Games look far and away better with this cable and at those higher resolutions. I could be wrong, but I believe this taps into the Xbox's ability to output digital video as opposed to analog, so there's no real conversion taking place, and therefore no added lag. This also eliminates it's need for external power unlike most other HDMI adapters. It pairs super well with the mClassic too.

    LevelHike HD

Although I can only compare it to composite and component cables I've used previously, it has a nice clear picture. It switched resolutions quickly for games that did so and I didn't notice any lag.
