Works great, having the real time clock is really useful to have over the lower version. Love being able to use it in Gameboy Player and Super Gameboy.
What a great alternative to buying regular cartridges! The battery died on my Pokemon silver so I thought I would give this a try. Love playing all the ROM`s of Pokemon on it, definitely recommend to anyone who wants to play gbc games without spending a ton.
Works great with every game I`ve tried. One thing to note is that the games will appear in a list based on when they were added to the card (not alphabetical) so organize your files first before moving them to the card.
You may have asked yourself: ``why do I need an Everdrive GB if an Everdrive GBA can play GB and GBC games?``
Well two big reasons:
1. The Everdrive GBA only can replicate playing those games, you will probably find the experience less than great
2. This will work in GB, GBP, GBC, and super GB consoles. And as a original console collector I needed that.
The Everdrive GB is a fantastic, premium device.
It has a little button on the top (they replaced the silly squeeze button) to open the menu to go back to the file list or save/load a game state.
It just works really well and simply, just what you want on your Gameboys.
