Cyborg Force Wins on Neo Geo

Cyborg Force is an interesting game that`s mostly known for it`s seemingly unforgiving difficulty. Yet underneath the surface you actually have a game that simply must be played a certain way to get the best out of it. In order to appreciate this game it requires one to go all the way back to the year 1991 to the infancy days of the Neo Geo AES and look at the competition of what was available in being the NES, Genesis, and SNES.
Graphically many will say that Cyborg Force doesn`t measure up to Neo Geo standards but I would say the color depth within the game says otherwise. Clearly it doesn`t have the best graphics but it`s still a legitimate Neo Geo game for sure. The presentation of this game reminds me of the classic Neo Geo game Last Resort if the pilot of course got the chance to actually leave the cockpit of his ship and was able go to war using an all out ground attack assault against the enemy. In some ways I consider Cyborg Force like a long awaited sequel to the classic Neo Geo game Last Resort. The ground attack action reminds me of the game Contra except the enemies range from genetically altered alien zombies to mechanically enhanced androids.
I will say this, if you`re willing to take the time to patiently learn this game you can have a lot of fun with it. The key to success in this game will heavily depend on knowing which weapons to use in certain situations. The two guns you must obtain in my opinion will be the sniper rifle and the rocket launcher. If you can gain access to these two weapons without dying you can finish this game. It`s a challenge but it`s not impossible either if you`re willing to spend some time playing it. I highly recommend the game if you`re looking for a great challenge. If you`re a true Neo Geo fan then I believe you would appreciate the work that`s been put into this game. It`s definitely a game worth adding to your collection if you don`t have it already. Don`t hesitate to get your copy from StoneAgeGamer today because once it`s out of stock it`s gone for good.
