Cable Clip for Sega Dreamcast Controller - Retro Frog

The Sega Dreamcast is a great console with a controller that had some odd design choices made for it. The most confusing is the controller cable that exits the back of the controller and then attaches to a clip built into the bottom of the controller guiding to the front. This makes absolutely no sense.

Well, Retro Frog is here to save the day. Our Dreamcast Controller Cable Clip attaches to the screws on the front of the controller to keep the cable firmly in place. You can yank and tug and the cable stays in place.

Available in 2 colors. Light gray and black.

Installation:

Remove the 2 screws that flank each size of the VMU ports. Place the clip over the cable and reinstall the 2 screws. Make sure the text on the clip that says VMU with the arrows points towards the VMU. See pictures for correct orientation.

    Great little clip

This is a great little clip for the Dreamcast that kind of locks in your cable at the top the little cable slot that Sega built... but after a while, it doesn`t really have the tension to hold anymore... so this cable clip locks it in place in the back... it looks like it`s been 3D printed but it`s a very good quality. the filament used is very good. I considered trying to make it on my printer, but these are made well... just but them for 5-6$ lol

    A Modern Match!

I ordered one to try it out with the only compatible Dreamcast controller I have, and it basically took me 3 minutes to install.

The colour is identical to the stock grey!

It has been designed to be compatible with a Jump Pack installed in slot 2 on the controller, and will actually keep that cord even more stable thanks to the Jump Pack`s release button.

The 3D printed plastic is flexible enough not to damage anything as well as keep that cable tucked in nicely, as it always should`ve been!
