Welcome once again to another trailer compilation post. Gamescom 2025, the Six One Indie Showcase, the Convergence Games Showcase are in the books and, like Not E3 week before them, a ton of video was dropped highlighting gameplay, mechanics, and entirely new experiences. I watched, I think anyway, all of the trailers that were shown off during these presentations and picked out the stuff that looked super cool. With Tokyo Games Show around the corner I figured it was time to compile these videos together in a nice, tidy package for all of you before the next wave of trailers hit. (which I am sure we will cover on the podcast) Hit the links to visit the game pages and while you're at it, why not grab a sweet controller to play these new games with.

So there you have it, the trailers that stuck out to me from the last few weeks. With TGS 2025 coming soon, not to mention the trailers shown off during the recent Nintendo direct and Acclaim Showcase (which we covered on the pod here), it'll only be a little bit until I post another roundup of the latest and greatest trailers. Which, let's be honest, isn't the worst thing in the world. With everything going on in the world currently, video games remain a wonderful distraction and release. And these trailers give us a peak into what our future selves will be obsessed with soon. But I want to know what you think. Join the Stone Age Gamer discord, or you can find me on Bluesky to let me know your thoughts. In the immortal words of Billy Joel, “Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes (and trailers apparently); I'm afraid it's time for goodbye again.” See you soon.
